Tollywood was away from loves stories for quite some time, focusing on different genres, and experimenting with other genres. With the demand for more content, and for engaging content at that, the lost genre of love stories is being revived.
There are several love stories in the making, in Tollywood currently, including the massive, pan-Indian budgeted Radhe Shyam, with Young Rebel Star Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the leading roles. There’s also Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the leading roles. Both of these films have good expectations on them and are two of the most anticipated films in Tollywood right now.
According to the latest reports, another love story is currently in the making, with Akhil Akkineni said to be in talks with director Hanu Raghavapudi. Hanu Raghavapudi is known for his soulful and beautiful love stories, which never fail to enthrall the audiences. Akhil previously scored good marks for his performance in another love story, Hello, and looks like he’s about to do the same with this. On the other hand, Akhil is currently busy with director Surender Reddy’s Agent, in which he will be seen playing a spy, for which he bulked up massively.
