Actor Mohit Raina revealed that for his character in “The Freelancer,” which stars Liam Neeson, he was inspired by the movie “Taken.”
Actor Mohit Raina has revealed that he drew inspiration from the Liam Neeson-starring movie “Taken” for his part in the upcoming streaming series “The Freelancer,” which stars him as Avinash Kamath.
The English-French action drama “Taken” has a plot that is similar to “The Freelancer.”
Mohit plays an Indian mercenary who is on a rescue mission to save a girl from war-torn Syria in the television series. In the series, he will appear in a few intense action scenes.
When discussing the programme, Mohit Raina said, “It was really exciting for me as an actor to play Avinash Kamath. The crowds in India have never seen anything like this. I was heavily influenced by Liam Neeson’s “Taken” for my role because I love the movie and the way it was done.
“It helped me understand how to perform some really tough action and intense sequences,” he continued. Since I have never done this before, I can’t wait for everyone to watch the series.
Based on Shirish Thorat’s book “A Ticket to Syria,” “The Freelancer” is a film. Bhav Dhulia is the director, while Neeraj Pandey is the creator.
On September 1, the programme will debut on Disney+ Hotstar.
