Mohanlal’s super business acumen

The T-town movie lovers are super glad and were anticipating the Mohanlal-NTR-return onscreen for Janatha Garage. But this charismatic movie star is not only a fantastic actor but has a few other skills up his sleeve which make him super cool.

With his lean move he has now shocket the Mythri Movie Makers who are now amazed. Before Mohanlal started shooting for Janatha Garage, the national award winning actor was reportedly offered Rs. 1.5 crores and the film’s Malayalam rights as his renumeration for the film.

The producers must have  thought that the film won’t fetch more than Rs 1.5 crores for the Malayalam distribution rights. However, Mohanlal proved them all wrong — he managed to sell the Malayalam rights for a neat 4.5 crores. This leaves the actor witha minimum of 5.5 crores. Whoa, so cool right!

Mohanlal is the biggest superstar in Mollywood. Maybe that’s why this deal shouldn’t be a shocker to his Malayali fans. But his stunt has left the Tollywood producers of Janatha Garage happy but surprised.
