Mohan Babu is facing a legal battle after allegedly assaulting a media journalist at his home a couple of weeks ago. The case has now reached the Telangana High Court where Mohan Babu applied for anticipatory bail.
The court heard the petition today but rejected it meaning Mohan Babu request for bail on medical grounds was not accepted.
His lawyers had argued that Mohan Babu has an abnormal heart condition and should be granted bail for medical reasons, as he is currently resting in Tirupati after returning from Dubai.
Despite this, the court decided against granting bail, so Mohan Babu will have to face the legal consequences. The Hyderabad police also stated that they are closely monitoring the case and will take necessary action soon.
Mohan Babu had previously apologized to the victim’s family, but the media outlet involved is firm about pursuing legal action against him.
