MM Keeravaani: Song “Naatu Naatu” From RRR Is Not His Best Song

MM Keeravaani gained worldwide recognition with the song “Naatu Naatu” from RRR which won him a Golden Globe and an Oscar.

Featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan the song became immensely popular in India and received love globally. Despite the song’s international acclaim and awards MM Keeravaani has remained humble about its success.

He even mentioned that “Naatu Naatu” is not his best work when asked about the recognition. MM Keeravaani believes that recognition comes at its own time regardless of when in life it happens.

Speaking at an event MM Keeravaani shared “I was not initially excited about the Oscar nomination. But when I met Ramoji Rao he encouraged me to bring the award home”.

“His belief in the Oscars importance inspired me to strive for it. I felt its value and was nervous before the award announcement not for myself, but for him”.
