Following the huge success of “Gadar 2,” Mithoon said that he had acquired a new moniker from the public.
According to Mithoon, who wrote the music for the movie “Gadar 2,” because of the popularity of this movie, people have started referring to him as a “part 2” music specialist because he has written the music for “Murder 2,” “Aashiqui 2,” and now “Gadar 2,” all of which have become major box office successes.
Mithoon is renowned for his heartfelt music and his music for the movie “Gadar 2,” for which he wrote five brand-new songs and two classic songs were remade, winning over the audience’s hearts.

In response, Mithoon said: “I am accustomed to this kind of responsibility. I wrote the music for “Murder 2,” “Aashiqui 2,” and now “Gadar 2,” and the public adored the songs for each of these movies. People now refer to me as a “part 2 music specialist.”
One always feels responsible while working on any film. Working on Gadar was different because the emotions of the whole country are associated with it. In today’s world people do not easily accept the recreated version. I knew I did not have to do anything to Uttam Ji’s songs. They are iconic in themselves. I had to make sure that I did not destroy them. I had to just present them in my way. Today there is not even a single negative comment on those two recreated songs,” he said
The composer and performer Palak Muchhal just got married.
Speaking of the changes that marriage has made to his life and job, he said: “Marriage may not immediately advance your professional goals, but it does bring calm to your life. Other than your parents, you know someone is always praying for you. My life is peaceful right now. Additionally, I enjoy travelling, and I now have a trip companion.
When asked about his upcoming endeavours, Mithoon stated: “I am collaborating on a movie with Mohit Suri. For the movie “Crack” starring Aditya Dutt, I wrote the music. I’m collaborating on Anil Ji’s newest movie alongside him.
