According to trade reports, “Jawan” enjoyed a record-breaking opening in the Telugu States for dubbed films and also had a sensational start in the USA. Despite the fierce competition, “Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty” managed to secure promising numbers in the A centers of Andhra and Telangana. In the USA, the film grossed over $300K on its first day, including Wednesday premieres, a notable achievement given the rivalry with “Jawan.”
The film received positive reviews and generated decent word of mouth, despite its leisurely storytelling pace. Collections improved during evening shows in A centers as both families and youth flocked to theaters to experience this heartwarming romantic comedy.
