Mira Rajput Kapoor spoke on “Powering India’s Journey to 2047” along with Archna Vyas and Dr. Sangita Reddy where she highlighted the importance of financial literacy for women.
Mira said women should understand how to manage money whether they work in organized or unorganized sectors. She stressed the need to be aware of loans, insurance, microcredit and government schemes like Sukanya.
She explained that financial knowledge gives women independence and helps create equality in households.
According to her women should know how to earn, save, invest and manage expenses. She added that proper financial education can truly empower women and help build a stronger and developed India.
