With the rise in COVID cases in many places all over India, there are speculations that another lockdown is inevitable. There is also news that the theaters are going to shut down yet again or at least it is believed that there will be restrictions on the seating capacity. However, Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has revealed that they haven’t taken any decision on the closure of the theaters.
“Don’t believe in rumors. A decision regarding that is not taken. Already, the Cinema industry has struggled a lot in the pandemic period and we did all we could to uplift the industry. There will not be any closure of the theaters nor there will be restrictions” said the Minister.
This comes as a huge sigh of relief for Tollywood which was thrown towards a corner with the recent speculations.
