Hero Sundeep Kishan’s period action drama set in the 90s time period, Michael under the direction of Ranjit Jeykodi had a pan-India theatrical release on February 3rd. Opened to below-par reports, cashing in on the craze among the youth, it collected Rs 2.68 crore share at the worldwide box office by the end of its first weekend. Below is area-wise break-up data.

As per the trade reports, the pre-release business for Michael is done for Rs 3.15 crore and the film should collect Rs 3.4 crore share to achieve break-even status. As the film has collected only Rs 2.68 crore worldwide share in three days, Michael has to collect Rs 0.72 crore share to be a safe bet for the buyers. Michael also has Vijay Sethupathi, Gautham Menon, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Anasuya, Varun Sandesh, and Ayyappa among others in prominent roles.
