Opened to below-par reports, the film witnessed an average range of collections. Trade reports suggest that the film generates Rs 3.23 crore share at the worldwide box office. As per the trade reports, the pre-release business for Michael is done for Rs 3.15 crore and the film should collect Rs 3.4 crore share to achieve break-even status. As the film has collected only Rs 3.23 crore worldwide share by the end of its full run, Michael missed the break-even target with minor losses. Michael also has Vijay Sethupathi, Gautham Menon, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Anasuya, Varun Sandesh, and Ayyappa among others in prominent roles.
