Hero Sundeep Kishan’s period action drama set in the 90s time period, Michael under the direction of Ranjit Jeykodi had a pan-India theatrical release on February 3rd. Opened to below-par reports, the film failed to cash in on the craze and collected only Rs 0.83 crore share at the worldwide box office. Below is area-wise break-up data.

As per the trade reports, the pre-release business for Michael is done for Rs 3.15 crore and the film should collect Rs 3.4 crore share to achieve break-even status. As the film has collected only Rs 0.83 crore worldwide share on its first day, Michael has to collect Rs 2.57 crore share to be a safe bet for the buyers. Michael also has Vijay Sethupathi, Gautham Menon, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Anasuya, Varun Sandesh, and Ayyappa among others in prominent roles.
