It is already reported that young hero Kiran Abbavaram who scored decent success with the recently released multi-genre film, Vinaro Bhagyam Vishnu Katha is coming up with yet another film soon. Titled Meter, the film has wrapped up its entire shooting formalities and post-production work is underway at a brisk pace.
The makers have already announced that Meter will hit the screens on April 7th. For the same-day release, even Ravi Teja starrer Ravanasura is also scheduled for a release is widely known. Being directed by Sudheer Varma, the film also stars hero Sushanth in a key role. Faria Abdullah, Pujitha Ponnada, Daksha Nagarkar, Megha Akash and Anu Emmanuel are female leads.
We already reported that noted distribution channel Zee5 has bagged the theatrical rights of the film by offering a fancy price. The film wrapped up its entire shooting formalities a few weeks back. This actioner also has Akhand fame Nithin Mehta, Murali Sharma, Jayaprakash, Sampath Raj, and Rao Ramesh in prominent roles. Srikanth Visa provided the story for the film. Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo are jointly scoring soundtracks for the film.
Coming back to Meter, the team has released the film’s first look teaser in the afternoon hours of March 7th. The little more than one-minute promo revolves around a reckless and jovial cop( Kiran Abbavaram). Though Kiran has no special interest in his job, an incident turns him into a responsible police officer. What is the incident? How will the hero handles the circumstances and do justice to the needful people, expected to be crux of the film. Kiran is projected with good mass elevations in the promotional video but the teaser has a heavy dose of Kalyan Ram’s Pataas shades in it. Will this regular action drama work at the box office? Remains to be seen.
Directed by Ramesh Kaduri, Meter is bankrolled by Chiranjeevi and Hemalatha Pedamallu under Clap Entertainment banner. Mythri Movie Makers banner is presenting it. The film’s satellite rights are with Gemini TV. Sai Karthik is the music composer for the film. Meter has Athulyaa Ravi as the female lead opposite Kiran Abbavaram.
