Mehreen Pirzada is once again in the headlines regarding her behaviour with famous producer Shankar Prasad, who has bankrolled Aswathama with his son Naga Shaurya. The film, which released recently, released a lukewarm response from the critics and audience alike. Recently, she was stuck in a controversy over her unprofessional behaviour with Shankar Prasad and the team of Aswathama. Now, the actress has reacted to the controversy surrounding her tiff with Shankar Prasad.
Without naming anyone, she put out a tweet saying, “Making movies on women empowerment but disrespecting them in real life doesn’t make sense. I stand up when it comes to my dignity & self esteem. I believe in mutual professionalism & respect to an individual’s personal space. May God bless you all (sic)” Reportedly, Mehreen failed to attend a promotion event of Aswathama which had director Raghavendra Rao. While she revealed that she had a skin allergy, it did not go well with Shankar Prasad. They had a fall out which resulted in Mehreen walking out of the hotel without any intimation to the team. Shankar Prasad was miffed with Mehreen’s behaviour and then cleared the pending hotel bills.
