Mehreen makes her bollywood debut with Phillauri

South Film Industry, especially, Telugu Film Industry is like a laboratory for all the Mumbai models who aspire to make it big in Bollywood. For them, if they cannot get a good launch in Hindi films, then they can survive by debuting in South Films and slowly establish themselves as successful heroines and then tempt the big producers to take them in their big budget extravaganzas as glam dolls or actors according to their requirements. Now, Mehreen after her successful debut in Telugu, got a chance to act with Anushka Sharma in her production, Phillauri. She is a Punjabi and in the film too will be seen as a Punjabi girl.
