Actress Mehreen took to her social media to announce that she has broken off her engagement with politician Bhavya Bhishnoi, to whom she got engaged in March this year. The actress, in her social media post, stated that she and Bhavya chose to break off the engagement amicably and in the best interest.
With the actress having posted pictures and videos of her engagement on her Instagram account until recently, several speculations are going around about the reason behind the breaking off of this engagement. Several people are trolling the actress as well, and comparisons are being drawn between Mehreen and Rashmika, who broke off her engagements with Kannada actor Rakshith Shetty a few years ago.
The reasons why Mehreen broke off her engagement are unknown, but the actress is currently quite busy with several films in her hand, including Maruti’s film and F3, among others. Mehreen was expected to quit acting post her wedding to Bhavya, but now that her engagement is broken off, she is expected to continue acting. Apart from Mehreen and Rashmika, several other celebrities too broke off their engagements in the past, including Akhil Akkineni and Trisha.
