When Mega Star Chiranjeevi announced that he might be working with Meher Ramesh very soon. Later the news came out that the project is very much on and the project is Vedhalam remake. Meher Ramesh has a very poor record in Tollywood as he delivered major disasters like Shakti, Shadow, etc., Even his Billa and Kantri are just averages. He has been away from the director for the past 7 years and the decision surely came as a shock to mega fans.
However, there are quite a few things that made Chiranjeevi take the decision. Meher Ramesh is a close relative to Chiranjeevi’s family and the director has been traveling with Chiru for some time. Meher Ramesh is working on the Vedalam remake from the past three years.
Meher Ramesh has worked thin and thick of the script and made suitable changes that suit Chiranjeevi’s image. Chiranjeevi after hearing Meher Ramesh’s version felt very impressive and immediately given his nod. AK Entertainments will be bankrolling the project and it will be announced very soon.
