Megastar’s Acharya struggling to find a release date?

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Acharya is carrying good expectations among the audience. Being directed by Koratala Siva, the film also has Ram Charan in a special role and has wrapped up the entire shooting part except for two songs.

Earlier, the team planned to release the film during Dusshera festival season but dropped the idea considering the ticket pricing issue in the Andhra Pradesh. A couple of weeks even news came out that the makers are planning to release the film on December 25th as Christmas special. But the latest we hear is that Acharya makers are keen on releasing the film on December 17th. On the other hand, already that makers of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, Pushpa- The Rise have announced that the film will hit the screens on December 17th. If Acharya eyes at the December 17th release date, will Pushpa’s release date shifts to further date or dare to lock horns with Megastar’s movie? Remains to be seen.

Co-starring Kajal Agarwal and Pooja Hegde as the lead ladies opposite Chiru and Charan respectively, Acharya has its music composed by Mani Sharma. Niranjan Reddy in association with Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions Company is bankrolling Acharya.
