Even after ten years, the movie showed that box office audience are ready to their matinee idol once again. Chiranjeevi after the movie decided to give his dream project wings to fly and he became Uyyalavada Narsimha Reddy for his big budget historic patriotic costume drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. His fans welcomed his 63rd birthday with jubilation and the teaser released of the movie, went on to set a record crossing even Baahubali-2 numbers in 24 hours.
