During the elections a lot of discussion was going on about film star Pawan Kalyan being supported by actors, including Allu Arjun. Allu Arjun first gave his support to Pawan Kalyan by wishing him good luck on social media. But everything changed when Allu Arjun openly supported a different party candidate, the YCP, from Andhra Pradesh.
This action shook several supporters, in particular, of Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena party. They articulated their bitterness along with bewilderment over Allu Arjun’s decision to support a candidate from an opposition party. Some even critics are on social media.
Nevertheless, there are the ones who see Allu Arjun’s support for his friend, Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy, in the more neutral sense. Supporters, on the other hand, point out that to back a friend cannot be seen as a bad thing. Moreover, Arjun’s agreement doesn’t necessarily mean he is backing the party as a whole.
It should be mentioned that Allu Arjun and Reddy have been friends for a long time since Reddy entered politics, even earlier. Allu Arjun said that Reddy is a good man and he supports him not just because of his party but because of him serving the people. The fact is that, some may see Allu’s actions as an act of disloyalty, others may consider it only as a matter of friendship, without any political undercurrents.
