From the past few months, there have been numerous speculations about the mega clash between Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan. It is said that their movies are going to fight it out at the box office for Sankranthi 2021. Initially, there is no clash between these two. Chiranjeevi’s ongoing project Acharya which is being directed by Koratala Shiva, before lockdown has targeted the Dussehra season. After the lockdown effect, Acharya has been shifted to Sankranthi 2021.
On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan’s re-entry flick Vakeel Saab which is a remake to Bollywood hit movie Pink was initially scheduled for release on May 15th and then later shifted to Sankranthi. However, it looks like they both have to move from the Sankranthi race.
Still, Acharya needs 60 percent of shooting for completion. Even if the team starts shooting from September they cannot make it for Sankranthi. So Acharya has been shifted to Summer 2021. Pawan Kalyan recently stated that he is not game for resuming the shoot without cases coming down. So we can safely say that Vakeel Saab too will not release any time before Summer.
