Media Legend Ramoji Rao Passes Away at 87

The legendary media person and film producer Cherukuri Ramoji Rao passed away early on Saturday at the age of 87. Star Hospitals in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad admitted him on June 5 due to hypertension and difficulty in breathing. The doctors implanted him a stent on the heart and admitted him on ICU with mechanical ventilation. Unfortunately, his condition worsened, and he died at 4:50am in the morning, Saturday. Ramoji Rao was known to have been treated for colon cancer a few years down the list.

Ramoji Rao’s rags to riches story is something that will inspire anyone who takes a look at it indeed. Ramoji introduced to the world, the Ramoji film city, the largest integrated film city in the world and he was born in Pedaparupudi village of krishna district of Andhra Pradesh on November 16, 1936 in an agricultural family. He also established some reputed organizations such as Margadarsi Chit Fund Ltd.
