MATINEE ENTERTAINMENT’s Production no:9 launched with Sree Vishnu in Main Lead and Teja Marni as director

Besides making high budget entertainers, Matinee Entertainment with the purpose of encouraging young talent is making content rich films on moderate budgets. Known for their distinct commercial successes like Kshanam, Ghazi and Gaganam, the production house is currently making two crazy projects – megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya and King Nagarjuna’s Wild Dog. Matinee’s had recently announced a medium budget film with director Swaroop RSJ whose debut directorial Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya was critically acclaimed and was a big commercial hit.

Matinee Entertainment has today announced their Production No 9 with hero Sree Vishnu and director Teja Marni of Johaar Fame. Proving to be a perfect choice for unique subjects, Sree Vishnu picks another intriguing concept. Teja Marni, on the other hand, won rave reviews for his very first film Johaar. The first collaboration of the hero, director and producers is irrefutably one of the most interesting films of 2021.Billed to be a caper comedy, the yet to be titled flick was launched today with Pooja ceremony at Matinee Entertainment office in Hyderabad. Script was handed over to the makers by Anvesh Reddy, Sree Vishnu and Amritha Aiyer. Clap was sounded by director Vivek Athreya, wherein camera was switched on by Sivalanka Krishna Prasad and first shot was directed by Swaroop RSJ.

Amritha Aiyer who has become one of the most sought after actress in Tollywood much before the release of her first Telugu film will be paired opposite Sree Vishnu in this new film.Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy will bankroll the project, while N M Pasha is the co-producer. Story & screenplay for the film is by director Teja Marni himself, dialogues are provided by Sudheer Varma P.

Coming to the other technical departments, the film will have music by Priyadarshan Balasubramanian and cinematography by Jagadeesh Cheekati. Regular shoot begins this month.
