Mathimaran Clears The Air Over His Comments

The success of Mandaadi brought attention to director Mathimaran Pugazhendhi and actor Suhas. However, Mathimaran’s comments at the film’s success meet sparked a social media debate.

He spoke about the criticism Suhas faced over his skin colour and said Tamil audiences had welcomed him without such discrimination.

Mathimaran has now clarified that he was only referring to comments made against Suhas.

He said he never intended to target Telugu people, audiences or cinema and expressed regret if his words were misunderstood.

Meanwhile Suhas focused on audience support, thanking all the fans for standing by him from his YouTube short film days to becoming a lead actor.
