Massive sets for Naga Chaitanya’s next

Custody, an intense drama starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in the lead role is at the filming stage. Being directed by critically acclaimed Kollywood filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, Chay will be seen as a cop in this Telugu-Tamil bilingual project.

Currently, the team is canning a song for the film. As per the reports, seven sets are erected for the song shoot at Annapurna Studios by the makers. This particular shoot will be a special treat for the audience in the film, say reports.

‘You must be the change, You wish to see in the World’, a famous cotation from the ‘Father of the Nation’ Gandhi is the tagline for Custody. The first look which was unveiled a few months back gives hint that Custody is not going to be a regular cop drama. Along with loads of action, the film is likely to deal with various social aspects as well.

Speciality of Custody is that for the first time Mastero Ilayaraja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja are jointly composing soundtracks for the film. Being bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, Custody has young beauty Krithi Shetty as the female lead. The film marks the second time collaboration of Chay and Krithi after last year released rural entertainer, Bangarraju. The film also stars Arvind Swami and Priyamani in key roles.
