Star hero Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s upcoming film, Pushpa-The Rise is carrying high expectations among the moviegoers. Amid huge hype, the film is all set for a pan-India release in Hindi and all South languages on December 17th.
Meanwhile, the latest reports indicate that the film’s pre-release business for twin Telugu states is closed for Rs 102.5 crore which is said to be a non-Rajamouli film record. Including the business for the rest of India and overseas, Pushpa’s business is done for Rs 150 crore and the film should collect more than Rs 150 crore worldwide share to be termed as a clean hit. Considering the low ticket prices across Andhra Pradesh, will Pushpa be able to mint gold at the ticket windows across the state? Remains to be seen.
Starring Rashmika as the female lead, Pushpa also has Sunil, Anasuya, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil among others in key roles, Pushpa has its music by Devi Sri Prasad.
