Massive City Set Planned For Tumbbad 2

Tumbbad became a cult classic and is considered one of the best Hindi horror films. After its re-release in 2024 it turned into one of the highest grossing re-released Indian films.

Since then all have been eagerly waiting for Tumbbad 2 and its announcement by Sohum Shah increased the excitement.

Now the sequel is being planned on a much bigger scale. Reports say a huge 7–8 acre set, designed like a full city is being built in Mumbai for the first schedule. Sohum Shah will return in his role.

The film is produced by Sohum Shah Films and Pen Studios and will go on floors later this year.
