Director Maruthi has moved on to his next project after facing heavy criticism for his film The Raja Saab starring Prabhas.
The movie was widely trolled especially after its OTT release with many calling it outdated in terms of treatment and direction. Though Maruthi tried to manage the backlash but it continued.
Now, he is focusing on a fresh start. On the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, Maruthi performed a pooja and soft-launched his new project.
He revealed that the script is ready and placed it before the deities beginning the journey on a spiritual note.
The director has not announced the cast and crew yet. However reports suggest that he is planning a simple, entertaining film, targeting a Sankranthi 2027 release.
