Directed by Mari Selvaraj and starring Dhruv Vikram, the film Bison released on October 17th, coinciding with Diwali and has been well-received by audiences. Nivas K. Prasanna composed the music.
The film is based on the life of Kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan from Thoothukudi and has earned both critical acclaim and fan appreciation ensuring strong success.
The team has been visiting theaters to meet fans. During a meeting at a theater in Tirunelveli, fans welcomed the crew with cheering and whistling.
Seeing this, Mari Selvaraj reminded fans “You don’t need alcohol to enjoy this. Treat my cinema like a book, read it and be happy, don’t act drunk”. His words were praised on social media for encouraging respect and artistic appreciation.
