Directed by Mari Selvaraj, Bison starring Dhruv Vikram has received an overwhelming response as a Diwali release.
The film shows the struggles and social challenges of a village youth set against the backdrop of Kabaddi and has impressed everyone.
Within five days of release it has grossed great numbers worldwide. The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Lal, Pasupathy, Kalaiyarasan, and Rajisha Vijayan with music composed by Nivas K. Prasanna.
Inspired by the life of Arjuna Award-winning kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan the movie combines sports and emotion beautifully.
M.K. Stalin praised the film calling it “another diamond in Mari Selvaraj’s crown”. He appreciated the director’s storytelling, which blends sports, politics and social issues with depth and realism.
Stalin also congratulated the entire team calling Bison not only a commercial success but also a powerful artistic achievement.
