March a Month of Re-releases

It is widely known that the 95th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 12th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. While RRR is all set to grab everyone’s attention as Naatu Naatu from the film is nominated for Oscars in the Popular Song category, the film is gearing up to do hungama across twin Telugu during this Oscars event.

Reportedly, the film will have a release in twin Telugu states on March 10th. Starring NTR and Ram Charan as the lead stars, the film is director SS Rajamouli’s creative brilliance. On the other hand, news also came out that even Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 2010 film, Simha is gearing up for a re-release on March 11th.

Released on April 30, 2010, Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Simha went on to become one of the biggest hits in the actor’s career. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film ended up the dull phase of Balakrishna and brought him back into the number game. The film was made with a budget of Rs 17 crore and went on to collect more than Rs 35 crore share at the box office.

Produced by Paruchuri Kireeti under the United Movies banner, Simha stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role. The film has Nayantara, Sneha Ullal and Namitha as the female leads. Meanwhile, the latest news is that Simha is all set to roar once again in the cinemas shortly. Reportedly, the film will have a re-release on March 11th across twin Telugu states. An official announcement regarding the same came out this afternoon.

Meanwhile, in the morning hours yet another news came out that NTR Junior’s 2004 film, Andhrawala. Directed by Puri Jagannath, the film is one of the biggest disasters in NTR career is widely known fact. The re-release date is likely to be out shorty. Looks like March is going to be a re-release month of Tollywood.
