Marathi film remake for Uyyala Jampala girl!

Marathi film, Happy Journey, a remake of Malayalam film Koode, has been selected by Producer, Bekkam Venugopal to be remade in Telugu. The movie team will start shooting from November, say sources. Avika Gor has been selected to play the lead role in the film. The actress has been trying to shred her girl-next-door image by taking up glamorous roles. Her glam avatar in Raju Gari Gadhi 3 has been noticed by producers and directors but viewers did not like it as much as she would have wanted.

Some asked her to try to showcase her acting skills more in her next films. Well, this movie will be completely a departure from her Raju Gari Gadhi 3 role. The actress has signed the dotted line after hearing to the narration, as per the buzz. Naveen Chandra who became famous for his villainous avatars in Nani’s Nenu Local and Jr. NTR’s Aravindha Sametha will be part of the film. Will Avika be playing his sister or his love interest in the film, we don’t know yet.
