Rakul Preet Singh met the media to promote her film, Dev. She talked about how the movie is special for her and what are her expectations from it. She also said that she has many films coming out this year.
About Dev, she said, “This is a different love story. It has me playing a very self-centered person and you can see me being mean, in this one. Not a villain but a person who needs to understand the value of love. I think that will showcase me in a new light.”
Talking about Karthi she said, “He is a chilled out person in real life and very focussed and professional actor. I had to be on my toes all the time with him as you can’t second guess him easily in a scene. He loves to rehearse and improvise it too. So, that is really hard to cope with but it is a good quality that I picked up from him.”
About her absence and next films, “I am doing Venky Mama, in Telugu and will start shooting for it soon. I took a choice to concentrate on Tamil and Hindi films last year and they offered to me more variety but I love to always be known as a Telugu girl,” concluded Rakul Preet Singh. Dev is releasing on 14th February.
