According to recent rumors, Manoj Bajpayee criticized Naseeruddin Shah over his Filmfare statement.
Recently, Naseeruddin Shah made surprising admissions that he had been using his Filmfare awards as a door latch for the bathroom in his home. Celebs and netizens have reacted differently to his disclosure. Manoj Bajpayee has explained after it was claimed that he made fun of Naseer for his remarks.
The senior actor is one of Manoj’s sources of inspiration for entering the film business. Manoj has always had a great admiration for him. However, following Naseer’s shocking remark regarding Filmfare trophies, Manoj reportedly made a veiled jab at Naseer by saying, “Filmfare is like a dream to me.” Thankfully, the actor from Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai has clarified the situation regarding this purported verbal altercation.
Clarifying on the same Manoj Bajpayee said, “Kya yaar ! Please listen to what I said in response to what’s my memory of filmfare awards! It was not an answer to anyone!” In another tweet, he said, “Meri aukaat nahi ki main Naseer bhai se uunchi aawaz mein bhi baat kar paun! Kya-kya samachaar kahaan kahaan se.”
Naseeruddin Shah revealed, “When I built a farmhouse, I decided to put these awards there. Whoever goes to the washroom will get two awards each as the handles are made of the Filmfare awards.”
Manoj Bajpayee also said, “Filmfare has always been like a dream to me. I have grown up watching Filmfare, and I used to enjoy watching it. People getting recognition is an amazing part being done there. Filmfare is like one of the biggest moments of pride and achievement. It is the most valuable part.”
