Manoj Bajpayee once recalled how, when he was younger and more naive, a friend gave him a loan for Rs. 50 without criticising him.

From a Bihar small-town boy to one of the best actors in Hindi cinema, Manoj Bajpayee has gone a long way. He has given some incredible performances in films like Satya, Special 26, Gangs of Wasseypur, and many others.

He is now a brilliant performer, but after finishing his Class 12 examinations, he had no clear goals for his future. He only considered visiting Delhi because one of his pals was going there. He once remembered that he had never even set foot in a large metropolis.

Manoj Bajpayee recounted how, in his early years, he was so naive that he did not know that a ticket reservation would be necessary to fly to Delhi during a previous visit on Aap Ki Adalat. “A friend from my youth was traveling to Delhi. He declared that he will be admitted to Delhi University. Take me along, I said. Do you have money, he inquired. I remarked that I had no idea how much my father would give me.

Manoj Bajpayee learned that a ticket would cost Rs 50 when he asked his friend about the price, but he lacked the money to pay his friend. He laughed as he remembered, “I asked him, please pay for me now, I will return it to you later.” Manoj asked, “Voh bola bhikhmanga aadmi, tu kab chukayega? ” after remembering his friend’s comments. Toh tujhe daan kar dia maine, tu pandit hai.

The three-time National Award-winning actor recalled that he had been given a Rs. 50 loan to cover the cost of his companion’s transportation to Delhi. He uttered the phrase “Dakshina ke naam par Rs 50 karza mila tha mujhe.”

While collaborating with filmmaker Shekhar Kapur on the film Bandit Queen, Manoj Bajpayee got his big break in the business. But Manoj didn’t really break out as a star till Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya.
