Mandira Bedi, known for her work in acting and sports, is set to return to the screen with the South Indian movie “Identity”.
The film stars Tovino Thomas, Trisha, and Vinay Rai, and it marks Mandira’s debut in Malayalam cinema.
Mandira, who began her acting career with the iconic “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”, has taken on diverse roles across various languages and mediums. She previously appeared in the South Indian action film “Saaho“.
Talking about her new project, Mandira said, “Identity captivated me as soon as I heard the script. It’s a role unlike anything I’ve done before. For me, it’s not about the medium or language, but the impact of the role. I’m excited because South films today reach a global audience, giving actors a wider platform”.
In sports, Mandira has recently embraced pickleball and is now a key face for the sport in India. She is also actively promoting women’s cricket in the country, balancing her passion for both sports and acting with equal dedication.
