Arshad Warsi, known for his role in “Munna Bhai”, sparked controversy with his criticism of Prabhas‘s performance in the recent hit “Kalki 2898 AD“.
Directed by Nag Ashwin the film has been a nationwide success but Arshad felt that Prabhas looked like a joker and was unhappy with the movie’s execution.
Manchu Vishnu President of the Movie Artiste Association wrote a letter to Poonam Dhillon President of the Cine & TV Artistes Association in Mumbai.
In the letter Vishnu expressed everything that he felt the comments which he felt were disrespectful and hurtful to the Telugu film community and fans.
He emphasized the importance of respecting fellow actors and maintaining unity within the industry, especially in the age of social media where comments can quickly escalate.
He also requested to avoid such remarks in the future to uphold the dignity of the industry.
