Manchu Vishnu who leads the Movie Artist Association recently responded by issuing a warning to YouTubers and online trolls who make such videos about actors. He cautioned that if these videos are not removed within 48 hours strict actions will be taken against them.
Manchu Vishnu emphasized that Telugu people are known worldwide for their politeness and good manners, but recent incidents of indecent behavior on social media are tarnishing their reputation. He mentioned an incident involving YouTuber Praneeth Hanumanthu, which was brought to light a few days ago. Manchu Vishnu expressed disappointment over the disrespectful content in Praneeth Hanumanthu’s video, especially considering his background from a respected family.
The Movie Artist Association has been inundated with complaints about social media comments in recent days. Manchu Vishnu urged for immediate action against YouTubers who engage in trolling. He shared that veteran actor Brahmanandam had expressed his dismay over the misuse of his photos in inappropriate memes, stating it was not acceptable.
Manchu Vishnu concluded by requesting everyone to stop such activities and take responsibility. He warned that if the objectionable videos and memes are not deleted promptly, they will work with YouTube to block the accounts responsible and even pursue legal action against them.
