Mamta Kulkarni has denied any involvement in the 2,000 crore drug case claiming her innocence. Speaking to the media she said she had no connection to Vicky Goswami’s illegal activities.
Mamta explained that in 2015 she went to Kenya to meet Vicky but had no knowledge of his dealings or meetings. She said, “The police linked me to the drug case, but I have no role in it. The court has now cleared me of all charges”.
Once a time her name was linked to a drug trafficking case involving ephedrine which was allegedly used to produce methamphetamine for an international drug racket.
Reports claimed she attended a meeting in Kenya related to this but the Bombay High Court later dismissed the charges against her.
After 25 years, Mamta announced her return to India through a social media video, saying, “Hi guys, this is Mamta Kulkarni, and I just came to Mumbai after 25 years”.
After 24 years, Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni has made an emotional return to India following a major legal victory. The Bombay High Court recently canceled the FIR against her in the Rs 2,000 crore drug case from 2016, granting her a clean chit.
