Mamitha Baiju has been hospitalised after suffering from high fever and body pain.
Due to her health condition, she had to cancel her planned trip to Australia where she was scheduled to attend the Lendaxis Clyde Onam 2026 celebration as the chief guest on September 5th.
The Clyde Malayali Association has postponed the event following her hospitalisation.
The organisation shared an update on social media along with a video in which Mamitha explained her situation. She said she is currently receiving treatment and doctors have advised her to take complete rest for sure.
Mamitha expressed disappointment over missing the event and apologised to the organisers and fans. She hopes to meet the Malayali community in Australia on another occasion. A new event date will be announced soon.
