Rhea Chakraborty was once defended by Mallika Sherawat after she was accused of being responsible for the killing of Sushant Singh Rajput.

She rarely makes headlines, but she did so once when she spoke out in support of Rhea Chakraborty and the family of Sushant Singh Rajput.
In the weeks that followed the actor’s death in June 2020, his girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, was charged with aiding in his suicide and money laundering. The actress from Welcome referred to those who blamed Rhea for his passing as “misogynistic.”

She was then taken into custody on a drug-related charge and held in Byculla jail for about a month. Rhea last appeared in the Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Chehre.
