Sensational couple Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh made their relationship open long back. Cashing in on the craze, the film titled, Malli Pelli was made based on their relationship. Senior director MS Raju directed the film which had hit the screens on May 26th.
Opened to below-par reports, the film flopped at the box office. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that reputed OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film and planning to stream the film on June 23rd on their streaming platform. An official announcement regarding the same came out this afternoon.
Apart from Naresh and Pavitra, the film also stars Vanita Vijayakumar, and Ananya Nagalla among others in key roles. Malli Pelli is said to be the last film of veteran actor Sarath Babu who passed away recently.
