Malayalam Crime Thriller Available On This OTT, Can Also Be Watched In Telugu

Another Malayalam blockbuster has arrived on OTT, and it’s available in Telugu too. Released on May 24th, the film is a murder mystery thriller with a gripping plot.

Initially a small production, it made over Rs. 30 crores at the box office. Now, it’s streaming on Sony Liv, with the digital release starting from September 9th, a day earlier than planned.

“Thalavan,” starring Biju Menon and Asif Ali as police officers, was directed by Jis Joy and is based on real-life incidents involving a police officer.

Miya George and Anushree play the female leads. Made on a budget of Rs. 10 crores, the film’s box office success is notable.

In “Thalavan,” the story focuses on the clash between two police officers, SI Karthik Vasudevan and CI Jayashankar. Karthik, known for his tough attitude, causes tension when he releases a friend from custody without Jayashankar’s approval.
