Condition of Malayalam Actor Innocent Still Serious

Famous Malayalam actor Innocent, who is now being treated in a private hospital, is still in critical condition.

Innocent, a well-known Malayalam actor who is currently being treated in a local private hospital, is still in critical condition. Sources claim that he was hospitalised for lung problems over two weeks ago.

The legendary comic and character actor, 75, was given a cancer diagnosis many years ago.

Sources claim that Innocent had fallen and that this caused a decline in his health. After testing positive three times in the last three years for Covid-19, it has also taken a toll on him.

The well-known comic and role player presided over the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) for a number of years. The actor, whose film career began as a producer, later switched to acting and immediately won over movie buffs with his comedic delivery and Trissur vernacular.

He has appeared in about 750 films throughout a career that has lasted more than four decades. He ran as an independent in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Chalakudy after the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) recognised his popularity. He easily defeated Congressman P.C. Chacko.

Benny Behanan, the head of the Congress, defeated him in his bid for reelection in 2019. Innocent’s cancer relapsed in 2020, and once he recovered, he appeared in a few movies.

After learning of his innocence, the Malayalam cinema industry as a whole and those with whom he collaborated are in disbelief. Innocent’s co-star claimed that when he called him a few weeks ago, he abruptly ended the call and said he wasn’t feeling well.
