Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora, died by suicide this morning after reportedly jumping from the terrace of his Mumbai home. The Bandra Police have arrived to investigate.
The police have not found a suicide note, and while he had been ill for some time, his ex-wife mentioned he only had knee pain. She also noted that despite their divorce, they had been living together.
His daughter Malaika, who was in Pune at the time, quickly traveled to Mumbai upon hearing the news. The reasons behind his death are still unclear and under investigation.
Many Bollywood stars have visited the spot to offer their condolences. The police have not released any statements to respect the family’s privacy.
