Malaika Arora a judge on Hip Hop India Season 2 recently addressed a 16-year-old contestant for making inappropriate gestures toward her during his performance.
She calmly pointed it out after the act and the clip quickly went viral. Many praised her for handling the situation with composure while also criticizing the contestant’s behavior.
In an interview, Malaika clarified that she didn’t intend to scold him but felt he went “a little too far”. She explained, “I just wanted him to tone it down. He’s 16, and we’re the judges”.
“Some drama in performances is fine, but at that moment, it felt excessive”. Despite this, she praised his dancing skills, calling him “a very nice kid”.
