pan-India star Prabhas’ Bollywood debut film, Adipurush’s shooting is going at a fast pace. Touted as a mythological drama, the film is being directed by Bollywood director Om Raut and has Prabhas playing the role of Lord Rama.
Earlier this year, the team has announced that the film will have its theatrical release on 11th August, 2022. But due to the Covid second wave crisis, the film’s shooting was stalled for a couple of months and resumed in July. As the film’s shooting was delayed, speculations started doing rounds that the film’s release will be postponed. Meanwhile, this morning, an official confirmation came out that there will be no change in Adipurush’s release date and will have a theatrical release on August 11th, 2022.
Co-starring Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Saif Ali Khan in goddess Sita, Laxman and Lankesh roles respectively, Adipurush is produced by T-Series banner. Director Om Raut is presenting the film.
