Director Venkat Prabhu recently shared a major update on Twitter that the VFX work for The GOAT has been completed at Lola Visual Effects lab in the USA renowned for its de-aging technology.
Thalapathy Vijay will be seen in dual roles, with de-aging used for the younger version of his character.
De-aging is a visual effects technique that makes actors look younger and the filmmakers invested heavily to ensure top-quality results. The director shared a picture on Twitter.
The GOAT is currently in the post-production phase. The female lead beside Thalapathy Vijay was Meenakshi Choudary.
The film is produced by Archana Kalpathi Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the AGS Entertainment banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja is a music composer.
