Major Setback For Jacqueline Fernandez

A Delhi court has directed that criminal charges be framed against Jacqueline Fernandez, alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekar and 15 others in money laundering case.

The court observed that there is sufficient evidence to proceed with the trial and asked all accused to appear in court on June 3rd for the formal framing of charges for sure.

Jacqueline’s argument that she was an innocent victim in the case was rejected by the court.

The judge noted that her statements showed regular contact with Sukesh and that she had received costly gifts with financial benefits and other valuables from him despite being aware of his criminal background.

The case is connected to an alleged extortion racket run by Sukesh Chandrashekar who is accused of cheating people of over Rs 200 crore by posing as senior government officials while operating from prison.
