Major Developments in Allu Arvind’s Ramayana 3D?

A couple of years back news came out that veteran Tollywood producer Allu Aravind will join hands with Bollywood producers Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra to produce Ramayan 3D with a whopping 500 crore budget. An official announcement also came out that Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari will be directing this epic magnum opus.

Later, news also circulated that Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan has been approached to play Rama in Ramayan 3D and the actor has given his nod for the project. On the other hand, star heroine Deepika Padukone is in talks to play Sita’s role in the movie.

Now, the latest reports from Bollywood indicate that the makers are planning to rope in Ranbir Kapoor for Lord Rama’s role. Yet another interesting development is that the team is in talks with Kannada star Yash who shot to pan-India fame with the KGF series for the crucial Ravaan role. If the news is to be believed and Yash accepts the offer then Ramayana 3D will surely be the most-awaited project.

Ramayan 3D will be shot in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages and it will be made as a 3-part trilogy. The film will feature world-class visual effects. Top technicians will be part of this prestigious project, say reports.
